Pics aren't as sharp in comparison to non-mod phone

I am a total newbie and first off I want to thank everyone who has taken so much time to post all the useful info that I've found here. I've had fun for the last 24 hours holed up at home learning and playing! I've really am going to hate it come Monday morning when I'm wishing I would have been studying!! Here's my question...I've got 2 razr v3's. One has the stock suncom drm(i think that's what you guy's call it)...it provides a sharp image when I upload pics. The other was a cingular phone that was locked...that's how I wound up here! With all of your tutorials I was able to unlock and load up a new mod.
:ladysman: thank you! However, when I upload the same pic to the newer phone the image is not as clear. I've tried about 4 different mods thinking that it might make a difference. No luck! :banghead:

Do you have any idea what might be causing the difference in image quality??

What about image size? 176 x 220 ?
Image format is .JPG?

Yup, tried adjusting the size. Thing is I'm using the exact same pics for the 2 different phones and getting different results. That's what's puzzling me.

thats odd......i have two v3's also and the pics quality is the same. try locking your fone again,maybe that will fix the issue!!!! lol!!!!
