some questions on z8

hey @ all,

as u can c i'm a newbie^^
i've got one simple question at first -.-

ive got my z8 since a few days in use and its already kinda broken: the right-direction-key (not da softkey!) isnt workin any more -.-
whata gotta do? i guess its a hardware defect, isnt it?
or should i try 2 make an upd8?

my second question>> what is "moddable" with this mobile? as far as i know u only can change themes n unbrand that moto... are there mayB some more possibilities?

if the problem persists with the right directional key, you'll need to use the manufacturer 1 yr warranty. im having a similar problem with the keypad backlights that i dont think a flash can fix.

as far as mods, you can flash, and install games, wallpapers, screensavers, themes, music from transflash card. no s/w necessary

but its "shame" that thats the only way -.-
but nothing 2 do...

what concerned mods: i thought u all here were a bit further...
when is it supposed 2 make some more with that kinda s60-motos?...

right, nothing you can do about it, its new hardware so will usually have some bugs or defects. moto must repair. just dont flash before you send it in (void warranty)

im not sure about your 2nd paragraph,
this forum has only been around a couple of weeks and not many known mods, were still putting together a list of firmwares and determining which ones are newest. there will be more tyo come im sure

how did it happen with ur backlights?
did that defect occured after a flash or was it immediately after buying ore somethin?..

i havent flashed yet.

its out of the box defect. so warranty still ok.
its typical of newer phones to be defective sometimes. its ok i got a Z6 on its way.

well .. ive been said in an other forum that i can go to that shop and get a new one instead of the broken one within 3 days (the word "swap" wouldtn fit^^) :yahoo:
