My friend wants to know...

He's thinking about letting me trick out his phone. So I wanna know, what all can you do with a Sprint Razr V3m. It has Sprint Power Vision in the menu so I dont wanna take that away from him(he watches it too much).

What MPs should I look out for?
Can I put iTunes on it?
Is there anything particular that I should look for when choosing a skin?

you can't add itunes... there is skins... i belive

nah, no skins cause Sprint uses BREW overlay for everything, but still has Java for games, etc. You can press options while in the menu to switch from list view, 12 icon view, and 1 to 1 view, the best IMO.
I have the same phone, i live with the animated walls, 1gb card, plus its an easy debrand. Change the StartUp/shutdown and cl.gif and its almost done. I just need to change the Java splash and it debranded :)
The easiest way to get stuff on it like rigers and walls is http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php, but it wont send more than the first frame of a .gif, so either use BT or a card reader. You can also use p2k commander to do it, youll need to for the SU/SD/cl.gif thing anyway.

What about just using p2ktools or would that not work? His sprint phone has an iTunes knockoff application that lets him listen to music.

yeah, Sprint music player. Update it and its even better than iTunes IMO. Update the FW OTA from the phone's menu to 24.0_00.43.00R and it supports album art and ID3 tags too. Plus with the updated FW itll connect to MPT (also latest version) with zero hassle.
No to p2k tools, p2k commander does the trick though.
