kiss laughing animations in sms help plss

guys i cant seem to add those kissing laughing sad animations in my sms i never had the animations but got them from an l7 its was my uncles i have transfered it to my fone but still cant add them in my sms need to send sms kisses to my girlfriend LOL need help plsssss:beer:

check your c/mobile/pictures. check if there are ems and emp files. change their attributes as not hidden files.

i am using an l7i :)

ok i have changed the file attributes and all but still cant add them in an sms i can see them in my pictures :( any more help i can recieve the the animations but cant send them strange ooo ya and if i add a picture i only see my pictures in the memory card cant see and fone pictures

you can change the view from memory card to phone. there is an option there.

ok its just keeps looking in the memory card cant see any fone memory stuff and i cant switch it to fone memory while i am trying to insert it mybe i move the ems or emp to the momory card

i changes the .emp or .ems extension to .gif and coppied it to my memory card and wala it shows it to me in the the sms picture option i am a genius more beer plssssssss:cheers: :drinkin: :beer-fresh:

ok a bit of more problems and more problems ok i can seee them now but if i add them and send it it changes my sms to a mutilmedia message i dont wanna change into an mms :mad:

would flashing the fone fix the problem flex version is GSTHAWAIIHGME08A and s/w verion is R452D_G_08.02.06R DSP S/W version 63363600 oo ya where would i get the new software version from the new flash files ?????

not sure if it will work but you can give it a try. just make sure you have a full backup.

Yeah I was in the same situation, but that was on a L71. I did what kirk told me but for whatever reason it still wouldn't appear. So then I went and got a regular L7.

Basically, the phone is too new and is only for the Chinese market, and to get it to do all those little things we love like inserting EMS animations, we need certain U.S. firmware or something- I'm assuming. All I know is, when I got the L7, then I had the animations and could easily see them and stuff.

But for whatever reason, even though those animations are in the L71 phone and i can see the file name and such, it just won't show up in the insert options menu under pictures. Not sure why. I think once some more flashes/flexxes come out, it will work. Not sure what else to tell you, but yeah EMS animations are important to me as well so its something I'm hoping can get fixed soon. I liked the L71 way more than the L7 (better camera, 2GB TF, better key layout, etc).
