Motorola MPx220

Well I'w sold my L6 and bought an MPx220 (Gonna get it on friday)
This is my first "real" smart phone.

If anybody have experience from the MPx, could you spare some details of the phone.

Ouh and also, do you advice to install mobile security software
(F-secure or something) I'w heard peoples phones got messed up after getting an virus to the smart phone.

i didnt have enough time to test the battery life. i wasnt amazed with it in the first place i would have kept the l6

One of the biggest reasons why I sold my L6 was the lack of free space. Because I want to use the phone as an Mp3 player.
Now you will ask, why didn't I just buy L7? The answer: VERY hard to get from Finland (actually I havent ever seen).
Not many finns use Motorola. Mainly Nokia.

I'll get a 1Gb memory card for the Mpx220.

I think the Mpx200 looks better outside but the "keyboard" is AWFUL!

Yeah. When the 220 came on market it's selling price was wooping 500$
(Or so I'w heard). But I bought mine for 70€ (used).:smoker:

I really liked mine(200), but after a while the battery wouldn't hold a charge for long. I have a friend that had a 220 and LOVED it.

I had a mpx220 also. I didnt like the keypad. Its 2 small and the phone is slow. The battery life sucks bad. The only good thing about the phone is you can download so many programs for it because of the windows mobile operation system. It supports 1gb of memory.Movies and Mp3 sounds and looks really good.When using speaker phone you have to have the flip open. The camera sucks really bad. I have a V3x now and the camera is 10 times better. I could never get the MMS to work correctly. I can send MMS but never can receive them. Well I hope u have better experience with the phone than I did. GOOD LUCK!:)

I think that the latest for the 220 is 3.0 or something not too sure though.
