Setting up the Rokr E6 with Cingular (web sessions etc)
Here's the instructions on how to set up your E6 to work with Cingular's data settings...
Step 1.
Menu>Setup>Data Network>Menu>New>
Profile Name: Cingular Wireless Internet Express
APN: wap.cingular (lower case)
User name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM (All upper case)
Password: CINGULAR1
Timeout: 15 minutes
Primary gateway IP: 66.209.11.61
Port: 9201
Hit Save.
Step 2.
Go to your browser.
Menu>Setup>Profiles>Menu>New
Profile name: Cingular Wireless Internet Express
Homepage: http://device:home or http://device.home
Network link: Cingular Wireless Internet Express
Setting up MMS...
Assuming you already set up the new Profile in Step 1 from my previous post, this is what you do to set up MMS:
Messages>Menu>Service Setup>Multimedia Message>
Click the little silver box with a blue folder and a blue outlined folder on it.
Menu>New>
Profile name: MMS
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
Max Sending Size: 300K
Network Profile: Click the little silver box icon with the blue folder, and choose the network profile you created in Step 1 of y last post.
Save, click the new MMS Profile you just created, and click Set as Default.
Congrats, you're all set up now!
Someone confirm this for me, please--I don't have Cingular, but this should work fine.
