Help with my v3X

I am having trouble with my contacts, recieved calls, ect. When I try to access some of these it takes me back to the main menu. I can't dial or text certain contacts... It just brings me back to the main menu...

backup your phone and try the master reset. if that wont work then flash it.

question is FLASHING same as reformatting? cause i cant remember my security and unlock code that is why i cant try the master reset.. will flashing solve this?

hookthe phone into p2k advaced editor or motokit or many other modding programs and it will tell you that password

Will this relock the phone? I had to send it all the way back to England to get it unlocked, no one here could do it... I am afraid of messing up my phone, I am new to all this...

no they are just going to tell you the security password which is what you need

I had a similar prob.
When I would hit okay on any of the contacts it would return to the main screen. Calls would only display the number not the Contact name, same with dialing.

I fixed it by deleting the contacts off of the phone memory, then replacing copying all of my contacts from my SIM card to the phone memory. Problem Solved. Just make sure you have the SIM contacts before deleting all the rest.
