Billabong Skin by ravz [DOWNLOAD] [L6]

Hi,

ok before i say anything i will say this; this skin is totally different than other L6 skins i have tested it and so far i have found no bugs it works fine but make sure you have a back up of your phone anyway before you apply it!

Well here it is my latest skin Billabong :

Instructions :

1.) Copy all the gif images in the icons folder to \a\mobile
2.) Copy the two files in the System folder and place them in \a\mobile\system folder
3.) Ok,now you will need a software to flash with (just search for one on the site). Once you have downloaded the software flash the files the font folder (the one file) and then the drm folder (drms.shx) one by one on to your phone (remember to backup before this)
4.) Now copy all the wallpapers to your phone. Remember this you HAVE to use the wallpapers provided with the skin or itll look wierd or [OPTIONAL] : if you know how to edit images i have provided the home screen bar image in the extra folder just open up your image resize it to 128x160 pixels and paste it to the bottom.Remember you dont need to do anything with the extras folder if you dont know image editing!
5.) I recommend people not to mess with the color stlye
6.) The seem edit is seem 0032_0001 offset 53 bit 6 needs to be checked in order for the spcolor.sch file to work. After this go to color styles in the personalize menu and choose Billabong

here just paste this file in to \a\mobile\system folder in your phone replacing the old one it was a silly mistake i made
i changed the text color !

You have to make the menu bar transparent, other wise you can't see the border (canvas) or whatever. Now you just see it black. ;)

I made it like that because look what happen when you press "Camera". Look at the START // record buttons looks like. Im on mixture skin right now and don't want to change the skin again.

(without flashing with DRM attached to .zip file)

I installed this 'skin' and I've got a couple of questions.
First: How can I chage this white-transparency background? I mean how to make more transparency or make it darker. Here it's good but on my Moto it's brighter and it doesn't suit me.

Hello everybody, I'm having a problem with my L6 cellphone. I've almost finished installing the billabong skin, but I don't know how to upload the .bin file that is in the font folder. I don't know how to flash it, I've tried with Flash & Backup but it only flashes the .shx file in the DRM folder. Please help... and thanks for that nice skin. (Sorry for my english, I'm from South America)

Hello, the billabong skin only has two languages: english and polski. I tried installing another language pack, but it changes the font style and the language. Isn't there any way to install only the language without modifying the font style? thanks.

Well I'd like the billabong font in spanish. And one question, I've found some skins packages that come with a .ski, .dat and .jpg files. I tried to install those skins in my L6 cellphone via Skins Manager v.021 but the skin doesn't change. Do you know if this skin type can be installed in L6 phones or only in L7 and V3? The L6 does not support skins, only color schemes, as with the font i believe it is the Pixel font which cannot be found anywhere, not to my knowledge anyway, i'd be glad to make another one for you

OK thanks a lot. And... one more question =) I've looked that some cellphones allow gif animated icons to be set like wallpaper, but in the L6 the gif wallpaper stays static, without movement. Do you know any way to make that the gif wallpaper be animated?

It's just that I was at first, surprised that someone would actually use my ideas for a skin. The skin used my wallpaper, my modded icons, and the soft keys(though slightly changed).
It just came to me as a shock when I saw the skin but I realized that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, i guess.

Anyways, nice skin! I'll try it on my L6. :smile:

Yeah I know what you mean.... But uh, this was originally a skin made for the 176 by 220 phones. Now this fine author called Ravz, made it fully for the L6 with the same name. So he made it, he didn't port it nor what so ever.
