K1m mp3 player on a V3m?

Is there any way to put the mp3 player onto the Razr V3m (both metro pcs)? I have a friend who wants a better mp3 player, all he has is the sounds menu(he's using that as an mp3 player) no actual mp3 player... is there an update or should i just flash it?

Not the Sprint ones;)
I think that BREW has a copy protection thing in it, but Im not too sure. I guess it cant hurt to try though
