Hi I'm new and I've got some questions

I'm new to messing with cell phones (mainly because I hate them) I have experience with computers though so I understand some of the concepts but what I'm trying to accomplish is I have a V323 and I keep it on vibrate all the time, the problem is when its batteries are low it starts beeping regaurdless of it being on vibrate or not and I put it on vibrate for a reason. I want to stop this incessent beeping all together, can someone point me in the right direction as to how to do this? Thanks

ring styles > vibrate > reminders > off or vibrate may do it. Or you may need to remove the files altogether.

ok my phone finally ran out of batteries and no that reminders option didn't change a thing. So what files should I be looking to delete? I still want my phone to work exactly like it did before where I could have it vibrate all the time only or I could change it to ring, but I don't want it beeping when my battery is low and the phone is set to vibrate.

As far as I'm aware only E398/ROKR has been able to turn off the low battery tone, Unless modding the sys tones works on this platform,

and why would you want it always vibrating?

Not exactly the best way of getting your attention but you should be able to set it just to vibrate under ring syles -> vibrate,

Yea, my Rokr is dies quietly, but so does my V3 with Apristels new MP on it as a base so its gotta be possible. Genesis, check out the sticky in V3, maybe theres clues there.

thanks I'll see what I can find. The reason I want it to vibrate is because it is always in my pocket and when its not I don't care if I get a call (like on weekends I leave it in the truck haha) I'm at school and work and in between and if its always in my pocket theres no reason for it to make any audible tones because I can just feel it. I hate ringtones and phones ringing in general, its the most distracting and irritating sound ever and phones beeping grates on my last nerve. It got to the point one time I almost ripped the phone in half because I was so tired of the stupid beeping.

Simple way to fix the beeping. Turn it off.
