It took me the past two days to finally get my verizon L7c to be read by my computer. I went through so many drivers/programs that I can't count them all. Not that it's connected, I can grab pics off it, put ringtones and music on it etc.
Anyway, now that it's connected I would like to do some seem editing. I figured I would start with something easy. All I want to do is make it so when I hold the pound key (#) it switches into vibrate mode.
I have tried the following programs and gotton the following results:
p2kseem.slvr.edition - doesn't read in any data
modifiedP2kseem - can read data, I find the right bits, edit them, and save to phone, but nothing changes and if i read from phone again, the bits show they haven't changed.
P2kcommander 4.9.A - Selecting "P2k Phone seems" from the drop down menu crashes the program. Selecting Seems -> Discover numbers reads up until what appears to be a random offset (it usually gets about 1/3 through) and then stops responding.
MotoSetup - Won't connect to phone.
EasySeem- Won't connect to phone.
P2kcommander 3.3.0 - I don't think this does seem editing
Seem Changer 2 (supposed to be for total n00bs) - If I try and read the offset of any seem it gives me a busy cursor and eventurally stops responding.
So... has anyone seen this type of behavior before? If there something special I have to do in order to seem edit this phone?
