Ok, I'd love some advice or help! I can't figure out why I can't run MGMaps or Gmaps, but I can run Opera Mini.
I flashed jklong03's file http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=7641 onto my T-Mobile V3re R3442A and it works like butter.
Opera Mini works and accesses the web, using the T-Mobile proxy websessions enabled in jklong03's monsterpack.
When I go to google.com/gmm it tells me my phone's not supported. When I download the .jad file directly:
http://www.google.com/gmm/gmm.jad?make=Generic&model=Advanced%20MIDP2&ver=v2.2.0, it loads and installs, then freezes with a nonfunctioning map of L.A. and nonfunctioning menus. On quit, I get "application error".
MGMaps will also install, but I get "application error" before it even finishes loading up.
I've also tried sending the .jad files with Midway, but same errors.
With Motomidman, I can't send anything-- it tells me (wrongly) that there's no free space left on the phone, even when I start with RSDlite open, as one thread recommended.
Any ideas?
Paul
Anyone? I'd be grateful for some pointers...
