Which guide to follow?

I'll start out by saying that I'm a *complete* noob at modding my phone. Never even messed with it before, it's completely stock.

I know for a fact that I have a v3re:
Boot Loader: OC.C1
S/W Version: R3442A_G_0E.43.08R
Flex: GSTRAZR06ATT01NA0DE (then a dash with a whole bunch of numbers with periods between)
Provider: AT&T

I want to put this (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68042) MP on my phone.

Looking around, people are referred to this (http://www.modmymoto.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) to do the basic modding of their phone. However, the v3re isn't listed as one of the models. And a lot of the modding threads I read for the v3r have warnings that specifically say it doesn't work with the v3re. So I didn't want to randomly choose that model and subsequently brick my phone.

So my question is, which phone model do I choose on that guide to learn the basics of modding it?

There are no V3re guides yet. You have to make do with a trial end error version of a mixture between v3r and v3. Also some of the Rokr and some of the slvr applies. As soon as there is enough tested info on the v3re and its procedures I am more then happy to up a guide section dedicated to it, but its a slow modding phone so far, and all cracks who knew some about the phone have wandered off to new hobbies or phones.

Not like I have anything else to do. xD

Was going to try to change the Boot screen, but having some difficulties. It all-of-a-sudden won't recognize my phone when I plug it up. The phone makes a sound when I plug it in/unplug it. But it doesn't change to 'charging' and F&B3 isn't recognizing it.

Grr...

I have the exact same question as this, I really have no idea what to do and everything I've tried isn't working. I get the "Motorola USB Composite Device" fatal error...What guide did you end up using and could you provide me with a link?

Just followed the guide for the v3r here (http://www.modmymoto.com/wiki/). Along with the instructions with the MP, it's all rather generic once you start messing with it. All the hard work was already done in the creation of the MP.

I'm still getting "Fatal Error" messages... and just for future reference, what does MP stand for?

Not sure how to help you, as I really don't know much about this stuff. I didn't run into any problems, so I haven't looked into anything about errors. Might want to make your own thread somewhere, so someone more experienced will see it and help you. :-\

MP stands for Monster Pack, contains virtually everything to flash your phone. This (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68042), specifically, is what I was referring to.
