Hello To Everybody I Have A New K1 But It Seems To Me A Bit
Low Volume In Rig Tone, No One Has A Map Of Audio_cfg.db File? Thanks In Advance

1. Locate your original audio_cfg.db file
2. Back it up first !
3. Open it up in your favourite Hex Editor
4. Find the Offset 3A5 it should have the default value of 01
5. Change that value from 02 to 06 ( I chose 03 )
6. Save the file
7. Transfer it back to the phone
8. Restart the phone and set the volume levels as you like again

and for wired stero volume

go to offset 1BD. it is default 00, enter in something like 04. not bit manipulation required

thanks Cash the value you gave me it's for v3x and it's ok
i just did on my old v3x and works fine, i read the same file on k1
but the offset 3a5 just has the value of "ff" so i didn't no try to modify
my phone is one week brand new i do not are so brave!!!

hehehehe, well i read on some other sites about the K1 and it appeared that by using a v3x audio_cfg file on their K1 worked well so I figured maybe the same edits would work (made sense to me). I will look around and attempt to verify this.

I can not be postive Since I do not own a K1 to test on but I have found many instances saying

If you really want a significant gain in volume on the phone the audio_confg_ file will have to be modified such as on v3x which increased its audio at least 10dbs.

Ok Cash i'll try it and i'll let you know what results are, anyway, it's a dirty job but someone has to do it........l.o.l

ok. that is.... i uploaded audio_cfg.db that originally was of v3x and my k1 suddenly was......muted, but, i did a back-up of the default
k1 file so i was able to restore and everything was fixed.
On the course of success i tried the 3a5 mod setting value from FF to 04 and.....it's seems to me that ring tones are now a bit louder...
tomorrow i'll check better....

man im kind of skeptical about doing this, however i do need my volume in my ear piece turned up, Its too low, i have to use my blue tooth all the time just to hear. It sucks
