Where Do I go from S Blank Neptune Lite? Bricked?

I recently received an old RAZR V3 that would make and receive calls, but you could not see anything on the LCD. I put the mainboard in another working phone and still cound not see anything on the LCD. I decided to Flex/flash with the most recent Moto stock MP. Apparently it did not go right and I have tried several things to restore the phone.
I do have a full SHX backup file with Flash & Backup 3.0.7. which I have tried to restore.
My operating system is Vista and I may be having problems with P2K Tools 5.3, and RSD Lite 4.2.

The Following is the original info from the phone that I wrote down:
RAZR R3
Firmware: R374_G_0E.42.OAR_B
Flex: SE 8615MBXXH1121
IMEI: I Have it

I understand that I should use P2K Easy Tools Verstion 3.9, but I am not sure it will work with Vista Ultimate 32bit. I get errors like Debugger Detected, USB Doogle not found when trying P2K 3.9. I have been able to get P2K Easy Tools 5.3 to open with an icon in the folder that is a Donkey Icon that says "Loader". But I am not able complete Test Point or Full Repair PDS Zone. In testpoint (I have a TP Button) I get errors like:
PK2 Tools
Full Repair PDS Zone
Connecting to phone ...
Connected to: 'Motorola Flash'
Connected OK
Bootloader version: 0200
Sending repair loader to phone ...
AND Access Violation.

Before I completely fry this phone, can anyone tell me how I should proceed.

Your are going to need a pc with XP on it to flash with p2k easy tools 3.9, since 5.3 isn't really compatible with older phones.

Well there is one program that might work on your vista.
Have you tried mstool_8r, don't think its allowed here so you'll have to Google it and you might want to disable your anti virus before you try to use it most anti virus programs detect the crack as a virus:alkys:

Look at your IEMI# to see if you have any alphabet in it , if it does then you need to repair the IEMI# in oder to get it working

Have you tried mstool_8r

I just downloaded MStool_8r it and it is not able to detect "flash mode". Kept telling mt to turn the handset on. RSD_Lite and Flash&Backup read the phone OK.

I guess I will have to set up an XP dual boot if nothing else will work. I thought I finally got away from all my XP apps. Unfortunately, a virtual machine will not work with USB connections, so dual boot is my only XP option.

The original IEMI was all numbers, but currently there is not an IEMI detected.

I will check back in the morning (EST USA) to see if there are any more suggestions, and if not, I will pull out an my old old XP HD and setup an XP dual boot again.

Run RSD in the background, let MStool detect the phone, close RSD. You'll need to do it every time the phones rebooted. You must close RSD before doing anything else.

You can try the phone info, its its not there try a PDS repair.

I have vista as well and i use to get that error so what i'd normally do is put the phone in boot-loader mode manually.
Or you could uninstall all the drivers and with mtoools8 running in the background reconnect it in boot loader mode well detect the different interfaces of the phone and reinstall drivers.
After that just click read info a few times and it should detect it.

Thanks Darkstar. I had heard that if you launch RSD Lite in the background that it may be easier to connect to other applications, so I tried that yesterday. But I decided to revisit it today before I setup XP and had the same results. But unfortunately, this mainboard is worthless now because the terminal where the key pad and the touch point button plugged in ripped of the board! So now I move on to another RAZR board. I have a couple of V3r boards that I want unlock and modify, so I will load XP in a few days and visit the V3r forum if I have issues. I do not want any bricks, so nect time I try, it will be on XP with P2k 3.9.
