V3i iTunes PDS repair through P2K Easy Tools--Please read :)

Hey everyone... I have a v3i (iTunes version) that needs PDS repair, I know that for a fact. I'm getting an UltimaBox sometime soon...but in the meantime, I found out that P2K Easy Tools can do the job (w/ testpoint, which I'm fine with). So I tried it, Well, it did it, but repaired to the non-iTunes version, at least it looks like. Does anyone have a prog to do PDS repair for the iTunes version?

Is the test point the same as the V3. Do you have image of the tp if not.

Yea, you're right hagan, I do :) As a matter of fact, I just happen to also have all those testpoint pictures a well...lol I mean, the testpoint isn't a problem at all, I've gotten quite good at doing then actually haha..What I'm wondering is since P2K Easy Tools can do PDS repair on the non-itunes version, is there a program that can do it on the iTunes version? It would make sense... :)

Hi, even after run P2K Easy Tools ( in a V3i non i-tunes) it says OK, DONE, it doesn't repair the PDS ( it'ss fake). Do it with Smart-clip, ultima Box, or GOT.

I use smart clip to repair PDS

P2K Easy tool 3.9 can fix that. I have done that with lot of V3i .
it doesn't matter whether you have the new bootloader or not.
Do fix it you need to have booloader OA30 bootloader bin file to downgrade the bootloader by using P2k Easy tool repair option to write bootloader OA30. New TP will be require b4 you 2 the repair.write the bootloader bin file. After reapair go successful.
Select write/flash option it then select modded monster pack that
same as what you have on your phone like if you have R49 then use it.....Oops! sorry for the bad language.

Remember:

while P2k is running you need to run MStool 8r b4 u use new TP . after is dectected close Mstool disconnect New TP and let P2k Easy to do the job

May be, but it didn't work for me. I has 2 V3i stucked in Boot Loader mode after flashed them with some MP, made the PDS repair with P2K Easy Tool ( after TP, of course) and they were bricked at all ( with black screen, not recognised by RSDlite or F&B3).

Iv tried with Smart-Clip as well, a few times, iv still got it in bootloader mode. Could you please tell me how you did it. I do the repair PDS with T/P, then full flash the phone overwriting the bootloader, everything goes through fine, but the phone just wont power on normal, what am i doing wrong? Many thanks for your help and time.

May be, but it didn't work for me. I has 2 V3i stucked in Boot Loader mode after flashed them with some MP, made the PDS repair with P2K Easy Tool ( after TP, of course) and they were bricked at all ( with black screen, not recognised by RSDlite or F&B3).

yea my phone bricked aswell... aint there a way to bring it back. i downloaded from bootloader 0A.52 to 0A.30 so igot an 0A.30 bootloader... someone help me...

i had the same problem and i repaired it using p2k easy tools
first you got to download your bootloader file in bin format
second you should have ramdl both can be found in the download section
now what you should do is to testpoint the phone so that it is detected as S-Blank Neptune
then open p2k easy tools and select v3i as your phone then repair the pds
after it says that shuting phone down at 100% unplug the phone
and again do the tp now this tyme when your phone is detected as S-Blank Neptune open RAMDL
it will say switching to flash mode
then click send loader
and after that write boot and select the bin file of your BOOTLOADER and your phone will start
i did the same and my phone is working as before

I had the same issue with a V3i

I had pressed the PDS repair in p2k easy tools by mistake and it had bricked my phone. It was compltetley dead, apart from green power LED on front and came up as 'USB Device has malfunctioned' in XP.
It would not load a bootloader via P2k Easy tools and would not flash in RSD.

After lots and lots of reading I discovered that p2k Easy Tool can't repair the V3i PDS, all it does is try to flash the 0A.30 boot loader to the phone.

I managed to unbrick mine this is what i did:

Download RamLdr (link in post above)
Download the bootloader you phone was using BEFORE you bricked it (For me this was 0A.52, not 0A.30 as in post above)
Testpoint the phone and plug in USB, it should now detect as S Blank Neptune LTE2 in RSD (I just powered the phone from USB by applying the testpoint and then plugging USB in and removing the testpoint)
Open RamLDR and it should say switching to Flashing Mode
Click on 'Send Loader', it should take 2 seconds or so and say OK.
Click on 'Write Boot' and it will prompt you for the boot file, (I used BOOT.smg from the V3i 0A.52 bootloader availiable in the downloads section of these good forums)
when it says 100% unplug your phone and reassemble it.
You should now be able to power on to the boot loader and re-flash as normal.

Thanks guys...especially bigbrett...been a while since i did unlocks on the moto razrs so i kinda ran into a bit of confusion...after unlocking a v3i last night with p2k easytool and test point i turned it on only to realize it shuts off...so i remembered for one of the v3's you had to do a pds repair...not remembering it was the v3r and not the v3i...lol...so here am i with a bricked v3i for six hours in panic trying to get the psd repaired...my situation was exactly like bigbrett's own...tried all i could with all different flashes and no luck...rsd p2k easytool and flash&backup was just no help...finally saw your post...it worked a charm...now the v3i is up and running...thanks a million...
