What do you mean it won't view HTML pages? Got an example of a website? I haven't had problems, it might be your mobile operator that only does WAP..

i mean that in the default Z8 browser the pages will appear in xhtml not html meaning the page on mobile is not like the one on PC that i know because Z8 doesnt support html only xhtml, any way opera mini solve this problem but one thing is not that good about it so far while entering a password u cant see wat u r typing so u have to be careful on pressing the key so u dont mix up your password!!

Well yeah opera mobile tries to format the page to fit on the mobile screen. THough sometimes it does show me the full view, like for some reason google mail doesn't display the mobile view on one of my accounts, and I ended up paying £3 one time because I got a huuuge page while I was abroad instead of an ultra lite version. woops.

oops really! i know that, it happens a lot with me, any way i know that is the issue is actually a down side of Z8, it is a shame that a phone with this price cant do just simple task, and with 300 euro the phone should have wlan which is not there even in Z10 which is more expesive, someone really need to talk to motorola! lol. thanx though

Personally I don't see what the point of "full" browsing is on such a small screen. I welcome the opera mobile/mini "mobile view" mode that "fits to screen". At the price of some bad formatting, I can actually read nad follow the content for those few times I can't go to a computer and get the real experience.

Even on my iPod Touch (before I sold it) I would get annoyed at the 3" (or whatever) screen, it's just too small for full browsing or comfortable reading for lengths of time.

Actually it is quite important to have full view even if your screen is small, it makes it a lot i mean a lot easier to serf the site viewed in html full view then phone Z8adapted view have u tried for exmaple to serf this web site on Z8 without opera mini, it could be a real nightmare just to go throght simple things which u dont have to if u r using opera mini that view the full page like the pc, sure for real experiance pc is way to far better than phones but u have to use your phone at some point and usually when u need to use it that means that u have to make most of your time usefull, well that is wat i think clearly every one has a different opinion!

It must be a matter of preference, then. I hate the full view on such a small screen, with the endless scrolling left right top bottom down down right right feels like I'm entering a cheat code on an NES LOL.
