using Krzr K1 on Cingular

I have an unlocked motokrzr k1 i am using on cingular. I have media net and the browser working, and have set up a voice mail number. I have also set up text and mms. However, i get the ^@ text message instead of the voice mail notification. I was told it is a SEEM edit but have no idea how to do that or what programs I would need. Also I would like it if it had the Yahoo IM icon on the menu, but it doesnt. I have downloaded several monstermods and flashes from this site, but what program do I use to install them on the phone? And do the have the Yahoo IM icon on the menu?

I actually got thru all that and fixed the voice mail notification, and even got the programs talking with the phone now. However, I cannot flash it to update the firmware because i get a new hardware install message for Neptune LTE2. I tried using the p2k tools drivers like you guys said, but it doesnt work so the flash fails. All this just cause I want the yahoo Im icon on my menu so i can access it and use text messages instead of media net, lol.
