V551 firmware version "R47"

A friend of mine gave me this V551 (its recognized as that) Cingulr branded, but with R47 software version.

Can i use normal firmware with it?

R47? Not R472? Thats strange.... There are unbranded R472 models, the V547 or V555 will work, but with R472. The 555 is "Americanised" whereas the v547 isnt, itll need the usual seem edits.

Sounds like you got a one of a kind, either good or bad i guess. Does it show the same way on the phone and in p2k apps? Real strange....

What is the sticker in the back tell you? the model? and what it say on bootloader?

I was scrolling through these forums looking for info on my V551. My firmware is also just R47_ . I wonder what is compatible with this particular software/firmware ????

Two years ago I had v547 also. First branded polish orange software I had was R47 too.
Without problem I switched to R472...40R, and R472...55R later.
R472 soft is much faster, you got better reception, faster menu and so on.
You can flash your phone with R472 software without problems.

It's not necessary go to on Russian web site for V551 if you don't look for firmware with Russian LP. I had this cell before and found averything what I looked for on this web site: http://www.xlr8.us/hofo/flash/

ok to all folks signup at motomodders they have a good amount of firmwares and monsterpacks for Vxxx phones and most other motorola..v551 has the s/w version r472_G_XX.XX.XXR just check in the phone status -->other informaion under settings. And you can use RSD Lite or Flashbackup to flash them

HI to all.
I have moto v547 with the R47_ version. I had flashed to version R472_ but my phone its going death. Then i try restore my backup and now im in bootloader and have "CODE CORRUPT" line on display. What have i to do to revive my phone?
Can me someone send link with stock v547 (R47_)?

my phone is dead help it is v551 i used r472 sw and it said code corrupt i used my back up flash and now the phone won't turn on help please

i think you need a pds repair..
if your phone detect by blank neptune lte
flash a mp r472
i suggest flash a not modded mp..
search in the download section

I've used the above link for the firmware via RSD Lite. It appears to be working (the icons look better) but it now it reads as a V547. Furthermore, when I turn it on it reads Flex Error: Phone Subsidy Locked.

Any assistance would be great
