View Full Version : Boost Unlimited/c290 Question: Connect o third party isp?

Hey everyone!

I think this is impossible but I'll ask anyway. I have the boost unlimited c290 and when I use Motorola Phone tools to connect to a dial modem isp phone # it says:

"CDMA connection could not establish... Make sure GPRS network is acessible"
or
"Line Busy"
or
"computer didn't respond"

Trying as a RXTT connection will put a "modem mode" display on my phone screen but still won't connect. Any suggestions?

Try creating a new dial up connection the Windows way, I know that the phone number for a Sprint connection is #777, username and pass stay blank. MPT may have incorrect info for Boost since its really new to have CDMA on Boost, they had my T-Mo info wrong too.

Do you know what the info is for Cellular South to create a Windows Dial-Up Networking connection?

No, call them they do but getting them to tell you will be the tough part, you gotta find a savvy tech who actually knows what you are talking about.
