Hi all,

I followed the guide for YuetMod on Yuet's blog. I had a different firmware before I started the steps on his instructions, and it said to flash the ABR firmware, which is provided through the blog.

The flash went successful, however after flashing, my built-in web browser and web settings menus now say Vodaphone Live on them. I would like to get them back to the stock names if possible.

Also, I would like to change the LP on the phone as well, the Lang0003 pack in the downloads section looks like it's for the DAR firmware, whereas my phone currently has the ABR firmware. Is it still possible to flash the LP on or should I look for an LP for the ABR firmware?

I just noticed Yuet released 1.8 of his MP and it says that the ACR firmware does not have the Vodafone branding.

Now, is there a way to flash the firmware only? I've done a lot of seem editing and all I want is to remove the branding.

Most firmwares in the download section are stock. I use the German f/w. Also, you can download the modded seem 0032_0001 from the downloads section, that would save you lots of time.
You can flash ANY LP if you have an R4513 phone.
Or, download your own seem 0032_0001 and later upload to your phone after flashing it.
IF you are planning on getting Yuet's Mod on your phone, just follow his directions... The second flash of his mod unbrands the phone.

Okay, thanks for the info.

I think I will backup my seems and then reflash with Yuet's MP and then upload my original seems back to the phone.

Sounds good to me!

Hmm, I just noticed that after I flashed a new language pack on, the Vodafone names are gone from my menu! I guess I won't need to flash to Yuet's new MP then, although I might just do it anyways.

Haha, my L7 has been touched by his noodly appendage, and therefore will never become a brick (hopefully).
