USB charging the C651 possible?

I've seen a SEEM edit for the V220 that would enable/disable USB charging. I'm wondering if I can do this with the C651. My charger's flimsy wire is already worn and it intermittently works in charging the phone (some jiggling required). :-)

Is there a mini USB on a 651? I thought there was only the data/charger in the older style...

Yes it has. Also have a charger jack. My USB cable and MPT CD came bundled with it unlike my L6 that only had the charger.

I will say yes, itll work just like on V220 then :) Thats strange, the US C650 only has the data/charge port, no mini USB if I remember right

Well, I got info from motomodder's fosco that C651 can't be charged through USB. I guess that answers that.

did you try though? Lots of variables involved, like port condition for one... Usually same FW = same results i thought

Stupid me. Didn't bookmark where I found the SEEM edit for this. I think it was 004e_0001 offset 207 changing 00 to 01. When I tried it, the offset in my phone has 13. In P2ktool, 207 is on row 0x200 column x07, right?

Aha! Found it in http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19791. But this was for the V2 something and it is 004a not e.

ohh i never use p2k tools to seem edit, it sucks for that. I use MotoKit or xvi32, they "take" everytime, p2k tools doesnt. I can help if i see a screenshot, but i gotta go to sleep right now, hopefully someone will see this and lend a hand ;)
