V3 expert help needed!!!!!

ok i have this weird pink t-mobile v3 only half the kepad wants to work
i have tried to use keypad fix and that doesn't help
i tried taking apart could see anything wrong
so if anyone is a v3 expert help me out please

did you try to clean the keypad...

it's a brand new phone only been used a few hours
i got it from my sister she gave up on it

brand new or refurbished? Sounds like a bad keyboard, changing them out is a bit of a pain, take it back if you can.

In that case search the v3 forum for the word flex cable or bad keypad and you'll learn what's involved in changing it out, it's not that hard just kind of a pain, the search button is on top of the page.
