Attached is the loader for flashbackup 3 created by Daniclara and Pioneer

All you have to do is unrar this and put the "KRZR_K1(0AB2).ldr" into the loaders folder of your flashbackup 3 instalation and the other two files in the "profiles" folder of your flashbackup 3 installation.

Now flashbackup 3 should work for your K1

Good day ... Previously, I modified SEEM on my K1 to get Auto Time and Zone Update turned on successfully; however, now I get "Home page still loading error". From all I can read, I need to load MP; however, with the Neptune error, I can not talk to the processor (btw the KRZR does go into boot loader when commanded by FB3). I have been trying to backup my K1 (R4527_G_08.12.17R) using a variety of S/W (including FB3). Each time I get the statement that new H/W was found "S Flash Neptune LTE2". I have tried pointing to P3K folders and FB3 folders (including the downloads mentioned in this article) with no positive results. I have reloaded the drivers, etc, per other suggestions/threads. Is the Neptune file a Motorola product I can get off my OEM disk?

it's only in the same guide section... so if i gave the wrong one again... it wouldn't hurt to open your eyes and click on the menu thingy that says "BACK UP" ;)

well am still confused as mine shows CG1 (firmware) CG3 (DSP firmware) and so forth i read the data backed it up and flashed it said it worked but nothing changed on the phone

Hello,

I have bought my MOTOKRZR K1m recently, and it was working fine until yesterday. when i switched it on, it would not switch on and would give me the following message:

i don't have a clue what that means, but i guess it is not good... it finally ended up switching on, but it did it again this morning...

Considering everything to do with modding a phone is free and not supported by oem etc.. why does this program cost money?
Will it only let me back up once? Can I have multiple profiles?

Yup. You can backup and flash any Moto phone out there (except the Linux and older ones) as many times as you want. You can have as many profiles as you'd like. Its worth $10.

Try connecting in Flash (Bootloader) then backing up/flashing.

Hi i just tried all you said to do but when i hook my phone backup my computer sees the phone and when i try to add hard ware well that just aint the way to install this backing up this k1 is a real pain .... anyone else know how to get this to work.

at last i think i got it, did as you said to didn't work just didn't want to go in to boot, i seen all these files on my mem, card Hum changed from memory from card to phone mem, and then try again and it worked O and i used the drivers from Motorola software updates, Um not 100% sure tho beings that this is my first time trying anything like this, so i thought id show you what i got .... dose it look right for a back up ... the file says its 60.1 MB is that about right ? Now beings that i didn't use the Apristel_s_Driver_Tutorial_Files p2k is this a good backup or should i not try to use this one ...

Is it GSM never heard heard of k1v, I know of k1m...but anyway ur hardware version also look very different than most of what i am used to...so you are not able to flash with either softwares right?

No it doesn't, but looks like you wouldn't be able to a backup, since there is no profile yet created for a k1v, thats the first model number I have heard about? You sure its GSM

Have you tried RSD lite? Connect in bootloader and it should detect it and once it does, flash with a MP, make sure you backup first with fb3

The reason you are having this problem is cuz of your firmware version R47121_G_08.01.11R, since there is no profile created for this f/w in fb3 you wouldn't be able to flash or backup anything...

i just wanted to ask the community if anyone is working on the r47121 sw and what progress is it at? fb3 can't backup or do anything yet, as it gives the critical error when any attempt is made to read the phone. sorta dice rolling whether to flash anything to my k1 or wait for an answer before i brick it....

also: anyone have a way to access the filesystem on the k1 yet, mine is running BL 0d.c0 SW: r47121_g_08.01.11r and i would LOVE to be able to put my funlights.pat in the proper place to enable it.

so any suggestions on what i can and cannot do to my KRZR?? i've turned on animation, my icons disappeared so i turned it off and they still disappear. i want to put skins or access my filesystem but anything i try is blocked by the RSA, if i am not mistaken. i feel like i am sitting here with a plain-jane phone when i want do so much with it and can't. is there anything i can contribute to help this units' evolvement in m3?

CAN SOME 1 PLZ HELP????....I went into p2k commander i opened a:/mobile/video and i deleted all the video files in there to free up space. I think i deleted the file called k1 krzr video which allows you to watch the videos. Now when i go into my phone i cannot view any VIDEOS HELP!!!!!!!THe video folder is gone as well, i know i should create another 1, but i need that file that i deleted!!! Its because you have firmware R47121, no flashing program supports this firmware. Image also removed because it has your IMEI in it.

I just backed up my K1/s R47121 successfully using the F&B profile from

1) Use Flash&Backup 3.0.7 or newer
2) Uncompress "K1s_FB3_patch_by_vermsky.rar"
3) Copy "R47121 K1s.prof" to "c:\Program Files\Motorola\Flash&Backup 3\Profiles"
4) Copy "K1s (D00B).ldr" do "c:\Program Files\Motorola\Flash&Backup 3\Loaders"
5) Restart Flash&Backup
6) Choose the "Motorola K1s" profile
7) You are all set, Flash&Backup will now work like a charm
