Firmware Trouble

i have downloaded and flashed my L6 with that firmware and i am having problems. The first and major problem i think is that i get an error at the end of the flash process in the status column like this:
"STATUS:
Failed flashing process. Phone[0000]: Error verifying Code Group 1 checksums. FIle: 0xDA43, Phone: 0xDEAB (0x4007031)"

The phone however seems to run fine except for when i create a new txt message and the character are in some chinese or mandarin language. however with dictionary on its in english. but i dont like using dictionary lol. I have tried changing the language to english in the phone setup but it doesnt seem to change the message language.
I will try and re-download the firmware again, may have just been a bad download.

Any ideas?

firmware is fine and the checksums don't matter, its just how that one is

ok thats good to hear. now just to the problem of writing texts in chinese or watever. how do i fix that?

Create a SMS, and while in it, hit Menu>Text Setup>primary Text>Tap English.
