Can't backup v3xxr

I downloaded the profile and loader for F&B for the v3xxr. But it won't back everything up. It says error when sending the loader. The phone is set to data connection and it installs the drivers and F&B says it found it, but won't backup.

Rev: R272311_u_97.04.30R
Bootloader ver: 07.00

If anybody has any suggestions please help.

make sure you have installed the drivers and you are using a USB port at the back of your pc

Nah no luck. I had a v3xx, and wanted another one so bad cause I modded the hell out of it, and they sent me this! And I have to start all over again. I can't get anything to work with it. I can't even get MPT to connect to get my addressbook off my old sim card. Lovely.

I'm having the exact same problem. I backed up my old phone fine, but the new one:

I too cannot get a successful backup, even with v3xxr profile dloaded and installed to fb3.

Put these in the appropriate FB3 folders in the FB3 program's directory. Select "Motorola V3xxR Ornand" as active profile.
Uncheck - "Cut Empty Bytes at End of Codegroups" You should be good to go.

After dloading and unrar'ing and putting in folders it still does not show up in profiles list. hmmmmmm

The file you linked was just a .ldr file, should there have been a .prof file also ?

Everything is working on my end. I just downloaded the rar package. It does have 2 files _ a loader and a profile. Are you sure you put them in the correct folders ?

wow the .prof file ynpacked to a completely different location, no wonder i couldn't find it. Working fine now thank you sir.
