i know you are a well known MP maker for E398. now, i just want to ask if i can flash your MP to my R372_G_0E.20.96R_A?

it's my first time to hold a E398. it's my friend's phone actually. it is a stock E398 and never been modded.

now straight to the point, what to do next? ^_^

edit: btw Hyperion1707. is this MP safe to flash to my stock E398? is this unlocked? what phone profile should i use on F&B3 before and after flashing this? or i'll just gonna use the RSD Lite to flash it?

Hi dude! Sorry for the late reply but I am in a totally different time zone! As my friend has just said, before you can flash any MP to a STOCK phone, you must flash it with 42R_For_All. Think of it as preparing your phone for the MP. After this you can flash with any MP you want (4xR or 6FR only) over and over!
I had once flashed BG ROKR MP directly on a stock phone and it had worked. But there may be some issues you need to fix later like bluetooth address etc, that is why 42R_for_All is recommended.

yeah tnx but i have a problem right now. i flashed the 42R_for_all CG7 then flashed it using elektro's 49R using his flasher and my phone get stuck. now when i try to open it using RSD LIte it says S BLANK NEPTUNE and i have tried to flash back my pds and bootloader but it always say failed also with the F&B3. now im reading the survival and revival guide. looks like i have to forceboot my phone. lol! what a lot of work to revive.

hehehe! just revived it and i never had to forceboot it. i managed to regain my bootloader back to 07.D0 and then flashed the original 42R_for_all MP from the E398 to ROKR site and now my phone is alive.

im just nervous when RSD Lite says that i have a blank IMEI, blank psd, and bad bootloader (87.** something like that) no clues about it.

what i did? i reflashed my second psd after i flash the 42r CG7 then restore the bootloader using FB2.62 and voila. hehehe! then finally flashed it with 42R MP.

After flashing and reflashing with many MP, my e398 unlocked, but I really don't know which MP did that :)

i see. well mine is unlocked. maybe it will get locked and unlocked again. lol!
