This has been driving me nuts...I have yet to find a way to upload games/apps to my bell mobility V3c through the USB.....I can transfer MMS, pics, vids, contacts and all that but have gotten nowhere with games/apps. I now have tried bezols p2k, p2kman, p2k commander, three versions of PST (doesn't seem to make a diff) and even the MPT studio (worst of all options) Has anyone had any success with this? I've been online for days and haven't fount a guide anywhere! think it might be a seem edit to enable java loading but how?
Any Help Much Appreciated!!!

Yeah I don't think you can. All the V3c's I've ever seen don't have java, they have BREW, which is proprietary and you have to pay for games.
I attempted one day to find out how to make BREW programs, since I have a programming background, and found out that just to get the programming tools you have to fork over $1500. Then you have to write a program and hope it's good enough to make back your $1500 and if you're lucky, you'll make a profit

that seems to be the prob....I'm trying to find a suitable runtime environment and midx to at least run the games on my desktop....I've got a few hundred cell games on my pc but can't even try them out let alone put on phone...I at least want to play them somehow you know!? damn bell and their wanting me to pay for stuff!! :0 Ant idea if the CDMA vers of the Q will have the same prob...Think I might go pick one up here
Thanks for the confirmation on the brew issue

Is there a flex available that will change the java on the phone from brew to kjava/J2ME?

I've never seen a flex for the V3c at all, much less for java. :( I know that most north american phones have BREW instead of java, and usually the rest of the world has java. I know the V3c is used in brazil, but nobody has ever figured out how to pull the firmware from a V3c and who wants to load brazillian firmware, assuming it has java!
The Q will not have this problem. It runs windows mobile and there's a huge base of software out there for it, including java and you can even run palmOS programs on it

I been going through every post about java and games and finding the same thing yes bell does have java cause i have java its a v3cm and it does have brew the problem is installing the java games and apps dont remember where i found the guide but all you have to do is flash the bell upgrade to any v3c firmware you have already then you need to dl 2 rar or zip files forget which and put all the contents into the right folders which in return gives you java on my cricket phone i access the java under cricket clicks where it gives you the option games or apps (folder) the files you put in come with some pretty lame games i kept pacman though and got rid of all the apps except notepad thought that may come in handy some time well if anyone gets that far and figures out how to put more games onto the phone pleeeeeeeease let me know thanks
