C261 data connection

Hi to all,

I'm having problems to connect the computer to the C261 provided by Tracfone. http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

I have a plain serial cable with the 2.5 mm round connector for the earphone connection. Connected it both ways (as DCE or DTE) .Tried with different software RSD lite, DM tool, Compal tool, Handset Manager mobileaction, even with Hyperterminal trying the AT commands : nothing !

is anybody reading this who may give me the clue I need ?
did Tracfone cripple this phone beyond recognition ?

Yes, almost. But try to flash this (http://www.mobile-files.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=15585&d=1158940343) with Compal

Try with a pinout, I really dont know much about the ODM phones, but Im pretty sure that a pinout is related to releasing Tracphone flashes. Keep us posted!! Also, Ive heard that MSTool is good with ODM phones,, dont forget to update us ;)
