This isn't really a mod question but I was wondering if my mom's V3 can be connected to a computer with the EMU to USB cable like my V3i can. I want an easy way for her to download pictures from the phone to her computer.
There is no USB connection setting within her phone like there is in my V3i, so I'm skeptical. All she has in her phone is a bluetooth connection setting. My hope is that Windows would recognize her internal memory as a hard drive like it does my V3i.
Thanks for the help!

If the drivers are installed on your PC,
just plug in the V3 & it should be recognized by your file transfer program.

OK, thanks. I'll try that when I see her next. I just didn't want to plug the cable in without verifying that it won't damage the phone in any way.
Yes, I do have software the works with my V3i, but I was also wondering if Windows XP would recognize the memory as a drive like it does with my V3i.
Does anyone know?

Hi, Steve,
I was also wondering if Windows XP would recognize the memory as a drive like it does with my V3i.
No, it won't ,
your PC sees the V3i SD flash card as a drive,
You will need the P2k manager or commander or Motorola Phone Tools
to access the V3s memory.
If you need more info, heres a great resource.
