V9x Seem Structure?

Hey all, i am getting this and would like to know if the seem structure is the same as P2K05 phones, as i have heard that preliminary tests suggested it was different. If it is different, then how would we mod it, i know the updated Synergy OS can't be that different from the old one.

So far all of the P2K05 seem edits work on the v9x.
There are a select few that don't, but basically to answer your question, the v9x mods pretty much like any other phone in regards to seems.

Have several of them on mine atm.

I put funlights on mine.

Funlights huh..... Did you use funlight editor?? I was able to do some basic things. I put on some skins, changed cl.gif. Still trying to edit DRM though. I was able to use p2ktools3 to upload the skins and cl.gif. Maybe this phone is moddable. Nice!

Just about everything -- allowed Network menus, Barred functions, etc. from Seem 0032_001. Also modded the softkey functions since we can't edit mma_ucp yet - that's so far the only thing that doesnt work in terms of modding.

The p2k05.txt and p2k.txt files have a list of everything in the 0032_001 aeem if you need it, i can post it.

Hello All,

i used the 7F bit 6 edit to swap the soft keys and it works...

at least... it swaps the softkeys except the home page keys... which isnt that big a deal i guess... but what is the seem to unlock the soft keys for the v9/v9x?

i looks around and cant seem to find it

I looked for the seem to unlock the softkeys too, but know one knows what it is yet I guess. The seems for the V9 mostly all worked on my V9x though. Very good to know...

This one unlocked my right soft key on Euro V9, maybe it will work on V9x.

Offset 71 Bit 0 unchecked

that didnt do it... but i like what it did lol

it hides the on screen button but leaves it functional, and only hides it for the home screen. I would love to be able to hide the left one too... anyone know what offset that would be? lol

This is what I used to access the Right soft key and the smart key.

Copy your mma_ucp to your computer using p2k commander
Open the mma_ucp in XVI32

In XVI32 click on Address and select Goto then type in 57
Then under Tools click on Bit Manipulation.... set bit 2 to 0

go back to address and enter 7b
go back to tools > Bit Man and set bit 2 to 0

Click Set to save
close XVI32 and open p2k commander
go to a/mobile/system and delete the mma_ucp (be safe and make a clean copy before deleting anything)
in the window on the right navigate to the mma_ucp you modified and copy it to the phone

restart the phone and u should now be able to change your Right soft key and Smart key.

That's the same as the seem edits on 0032 0001 using 57 and 7b offsets. They didn't work on my Euro V9, but you never know, they may work on the V9x.

Unlocking softkeys is done on mma_ucp. Seems have nothing to do with it.

anyone know if a different way to hide the softkeys on the main screen other than seem edit? maybe skin editor or something?
