After the recent audio mods discovered in the RIZR, I finally went about trying for the mods to work with L9. Finally i realised that the changes are quite similar to the ones required in L7i. I have compiled the steps to achieve this.
For each offset from 1F7 to 307 that ends in 7 (ie 1F7, 207, 217, etc) don't modify values that are 00;
change values from 01 to 03; and change values from 07 to 0B. Also change values from 08 to 0B.
Earpiece = offset 1F7
Speakerphone = offset 247
MP3 speaker = offset 267
Headset = offset 2E7
MP3 headset = offset 307
Download the Audio_Cfg file from the folder a:\mobile\system using P2K Commander.
Open the Audio_cfg file using XV132 program & do the changes. Save file.
Upload using P2K Commander in the same folder. Restart the phone.
I have also attached my Modded Audio_Cfg file incase you guys would want it. I have only touched the Mp3 volume from the headset & left everything else untouched.
Check it out.
Note: I have only followed as mentioned by the RIZR guys & merely modified it. The credit for the discovery should go to them completely.
