Really mad!! Mega brick!!!!

Sorry about the caps, I just need this fixed asap.

My phone is so bricked that when i cut it on, it goes straight to the bootloader screen.
When i try to reflash it, it just says CG1:error CG2:error CG3:error, and it does that for every CG file. I have tried to reflash each CG individually and have even tried other MP packs and everything. Same outcome each time.

If someone can please help me with this, please do. This is very annoying and inconvenient, considering that this is my ONLY phone that I will have for a pretty long while.

I take it your using flash & bckup talking about cg's, have you tried rsdlite with a shx file? Since this is what motorola recomends using anyway? Dont know if it will make a difference but sounds like anythings worth a try now huh. That really sucks wish I could be more help. How did it happen? If wost comes to worst I think one of my girls would sell one of their (pink) razrs seeing how they have no service and they only use them for games and photos.

No I did not. I'm hoping somebody else has had this problem (not really hoping that...) and could tell me how to fix it. I might make a video of it, just to show you exactly the problems.

And about rsdlite, it won't read the phone. when I plug it in, the phone flashes and rsdlite keeps saying its connecting and disconnecting. so LAME. :/

How did it happen? Maybe help a few of us avoid the same fate.

Sounds like a loader issue for the ram, check the address start and end of the cg on your phone when in backup mode and compare to write mode. It could be a corrupted ramloader address.

If you only were messn around with pics I dont see how it was your fault. Could it be a fatal error with the phone? Drive maybe dead? Can phone be taken back, do you have insurance on it?

it sounds like a connetion problem if rsd is not working,reinstall driver's, try a different usb port,new cable

You know, way back when I first started, I remember reading that a usb cable was causing some of the same problems.

i don't know the version, i just know i downloaded it from the official site. i don't feel like checking. I have basically given up on my razr, and im stuck with brick until christmas. :/

hmm i have a V3re but have never had a big problem like this..... MAYBE sombody has a start/boot thingy for MSTool to start up the phone? or if not how bout a TP? sorry if my suggestions are WAAY off cuz i havnt really modded my V3re in a long while (i went from V3re for like 2 weeks to a V3xx for like 3 months and now a Z3 so my V3re is just sitting in the box accumullating dust lol! )

Unfortunately a traditional TP doesn't work on the V3re, and neither does MSTools :(

Hard to explain, particularly since I don't know as much about it as I would like. Watch a vid on youtube of a V3r TP then watch one about unlocking V3re with smart clip. Then you'll sort of get the idea.
