Connecting my v3re?

So I've been looking into modding my razr v3re.
I followed the directions exactly, installed the drivers, plugged in the phone, and then ran p2k. P2k tools 3 shows that the phone is connected, but I can't see any files. When i try to use skinman or theme manager to try and change themes, they can't connect to my phone.

I'd appreciate any help with this.

I am having this problem also i just got the phone like 2 days ago and i want to add stuff to it.

try downloading and installing rsdlite and keep running in background, then open pk2. (mexplorer for ringtones,wallpaps,scrnsavrs / midway for installing games and apps / pktools for installing skins or extracting seems to do seem edits)
There are lots of guides and cant find a guide just post a question.

Still no go.
I've got RSD lite v4.2 open and running. It says it connected as well as p2k tools 3 and i still can't see files on my cell or install skins.
if i switch from p2k mode to AT or Obex mode, my phone gets disconnected.

Any other things i should try?

download and install mexplorer(this is what I use most its easy to navigate phone), it wont show root dir(unless you read guides download and install root patch) but you only need root files for more involved modding lets get you started first. With mexplorer you can see you /a/ dir. From there you can get to:
/a/audio folder for ringtones and funlights pattern(once youve enabled funlights)
/a/pictures folder to remove stock wallpapers upload new ones
/a/skins/alkili/ drag all to folder on desktop. Use MotoSkin_v0.1.7 to modify position or colors of home keys or date or clock.
/a/videos........
Does it show V3re with a green light in lower left of p2k? Your connected but I only use pk2 for enabling funlights or java app loader(for games). In hidden settings inside p2k, hit get values check mark item you want then when done hit set values. Restart phone. Now search for funlights pat and use mexplorer to put that file in audio folder. Also goto java on phone and you should see java app loader in there. Select it and connect usb from computer and use midway to install games.
P2k commander- skin install. Open skin and there should be a install file which will open p2kcommander automaticaly and install skin.
