Default Number and Ring Style Change

I got 2 questions on my new V9x.

1. How do I make someones number their default number in my addressbook?

2. On my old V3 when I plugged it into a charger the ring style changed automatically from loud & vibrate to loud. Is there any way I can make the V9x change ring profiles when I plug it into a charger? What I like to do is leave it on loud + vibrate in my pocket, then when I plug it in at work it changes to just loud which I modified to only vibrate. That way my ringer isn't bother other coworkers.

All my other motos,my original razr, my v3i, and my v3xx all changed to loud when i plugged it into a wall charger
Now my new v9x will not change to loud when plugged into a wall charger
can you mod guys figure out how to enable this for the v9x :)

Mine changes to loud when i plug it in... And i didn't mod it to do that.

Seem 0032_0001, offset 90 - bit 6: Change ring profile when plugged to charger or USB (1 off, 0 on)

The firmwares have it set differently by default.
