Looking for latest T-Mobile (unlocked) firmware

Greets, I have a few questions on the latest T-Mobile firmware for the V3re:

1. what is the lastest and greatest (as of today, Nov 2 2008)
2. where can i get it
3. is there an already unlocked version available?

Also you can flash your phone to other firmwares other than tmobile except if you have a special tmobile feature. I would put an unbranded one but there are no goods ones so far.
