I just got back to the Motorola phones. i used to have Mot's all in my life. i got sidetracked for few years with SonyEriccson, Nokia. They all had nice selection of smileys for SMS. This phone has NONE!!! I don't know if i just got a defect one from eBay or none of the V9x has smileys installed?? How can I get them? Also The Java application doesn't have the option to ask, once for the Google map. It asking every second if it can access to the internet. It's very annoying. How can I fix these? I downloaded the p2ktoolsV5 but I don't know how to connect to the computer.
Please help me. i know I am a squid in this forum, but I have to start somewhere....
Thanks for all...

I wonder about the "ask once" option for apps.
I hated that on my V3xx it always asked, however I just installed Opera Mini on my new V9x and it offers the "ask once". Made me very happy.
I havent installed anything else yet but I wonder Is this the way the V9x is set up or did I click something in my seem edits?
As for the smileys, I have never seen them on a moto.

On my V9 the Smilies were hidden!. They are stored in a/mobile/pictures. I used P2kCommander and browsed to each EMP_xxxx.emp file and changed the attributes from Hidden to just System. Maybe that is the same as V9x.
There were also Emoticon Gif's which were also hidden. I did the same with them and they can be used in emails and MMS's. They are accessed as Graphics on your phone.

New to any Forums. I have a Razor V9x which I love. Often when using CV I find a suggestion to update to windows mobile 6. Is there a good reason to do this and if so, where do I find it and how do I install it? Thanks

Impossible to update to windows 6 on a V9x. If it were possible everyone would do so. Sounds like spam.
