View Full Version : Problems with 0032_0001 mod

So I installed the 0032_001 seem mod in the download section (nice work). It works great on the phone, however, since then I cannot connect my phone in the Data / Fax Mode.

Im guessing that I'm not the only one who's ever had this problem (i hope).

If nothing else i have a backup, so everything s fixable.

Well, so far 264 people have downloaded it, and you are the first one with that problem. I don't think it's the seem that you downloaded, but any other mod that you did to your phone after uploading the seem.
Besides the seem itself, my MP (801 downloads) and my flex (134 downloads) have the same seem, and nobody has complained of such problem.
So out of 1200 people, you were the unlucky one.

idk, i feel so troublesome because of this, but it does suck that i can't mod right now

Does anyone else know of a good replacement monsterpack for the cingular L7s? A0.20

I'll keep on trying and see what i can come up with

A0.20?? Maybe that's why the seem didn't work. It came from an R4513 phone... yours is r4517. That's the only reason i can think of.

Have you checked the downloads section to see whats available?

if its just the connection settings, try this (http://www.badongo.com/file/1805577) s/w. it changes ur fone from usb device to p2k device on few clicks and u need not even unplug.

No, it's not f/w. I'm using the seem on my r4517. There are a few unusual/quirky differences, but it's fine otherwise.

ok, I used the switching program (cool prog btw, i like it) however it is still notcommunicating as a P2K device. as much as the modded seem is cool, now its just becoming a pain in the ass.

Im gonna see what else i can do, but otherwise im gonna just find some monster pack that looks good.

i suggest u check ur p2k drivers first and then go for mp modding. start motomidman (get the latest 1 from here (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1782)) and see if it converts ur fone from usb storage mode to p2k mode automatically.
