okay. so i have a AT&T RAZR V3re that has been flashed with a stock Motorola [R3442A_G_0E.43.25R]. Whenever I send a text message, it will sometimes say, "unable to send text message" but really, it send. then a minute later, resends the message. then the recipient would receive two text messages. it was like this even when it was still AT&T Branded. Help?

How long has it been happening and does it happen every time you text?

I'm on T-mobile and have had that problem before with both Nokia and Samsung phones, but it would be a case of happening randomly for a week or two--sometimes ending up sending the same message four or five times. I finally decided it was a problem with the sms server not acknowledging receipt of the message even though it had. It never happened for longer than a week or two and was usually not every message (though sometimes it would happen several times in a row).

Have you called the AT&T service desk and asked them about it?

Same here! Not all the time just random. Have called at&t and they say when it happens just call them. When they get enough complaints they will have techs look into it. Really just random fluke dont think its anything to worry about but then again I have unlimited mess. Would be a bummer if I were paying for double.

I have T-Mobile and that actually happens to me sometimes as well, but it's pretty rare. Maybe once a week (and I text a bunch.) As modnmotos said, it's not a huge deal. Is it happening a lot? I'm inclined to think it has more to do with the service than the phone.

well like, i figured out that when i hit the send button, and i coincidentally get a text message at the same time, it shows up with that error, but in reality, sent the message. then a few minutes later, resends the message. I have AT&T. I have had the RAZR V3 with T-Mobile before, and the same problem occured. I'm getting a v3xx in the mail and I'm gonna see how that goes.
