KRZR K1 OS X not detected in terminal?

Hey Guys,

I currently have a KRZR K1 and I am following the CONNECT guide in an attempt to get it connected to my mac so I can change the exterior image, Unfortunatly when I follow the guide to get the ID of the phone through terminal it doesn't work....

I have Apple developer tools installed and I try to connect in the following way:
1.Open terminal and type ls -la /dev > temp then hit enter
2.Plug in the phone wait 10 seconds and type ls -la /dev > temp2 then hit enter
3. Then I type diff temp temp2 | grep cu and hit enter.

This gets me nothing but another blank line....

Any help I am really desperate to change my hideos branded exterior image....

Hey shadowmoses: Try this utility: http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2040

It should auto configure Moto4lin for you, and give you your USB ID. Also make sure your phone is set to data/Fax mode (if applies).
