Email on the V9x

I have two questions about email on my V9x.
First:
I enabled the email on the phone and it works fine, but when I manually send and receive I get the “additional charges may apply” message (it doesn't show this message when it does and automatic send and receive). I know that OF bit 0 turns this on and off for the browser but it doesn't affect the message for email. Does anyone have an idea of the edit for this?
Second:
On my V6 MAXX there was a spam setting for the email. Does anyone know an edit for this on the V9x?

Dumb question from a near-complete n00b: I did the SEEM edit to enable the stock email client, but...where *is* the stock email client? I still get only the ATT-branded one that allows only a limited list of email providers.
