Need to get the users in

Sup guys,
I reckon we need some ideas to get MMM out there. Being a new site its always hard to gain new users unless you get it out there. I see the digging is on its way but I think we need something more, something that makes people think "wow that site is definately the site for me when I mod my moto".
So yeah I can't really think of much besides just having MMM in your sig at other forums...but I thought some ideas here would be good

Yeah I need to finish the banners for people... but make your own as well and put them in your sigs. Also, if anyone has personal sites, then a link to here would be much appreciated, it helps our Google page ranking. TheMotoGuide already links to MMM from every page, and I get a cool half a million monthly hits on that site, so thats another good thing.

Somebody wanna get on making a Wiki for us? Etc, etc, etc...

Users will come, we've been up, what, 6 days? And we're at 1000 members? It will grow exponentially... just keep spreading the word.

oh and e398 mod I totally agree with you that we need to get the word out there in any way possible SHORT of spaming other forums. Putting mmm in your sigs is a great idea.

Hopefully with all the work kyle and I have done to provide the community with one of the BEST guides sections on the net and I would like to claim the most COMPLETE and USER FRIENDLY downloads section anywhere for motorola phones people will notice the commitment we have to helping this great community. We strive for quality here.

Build it and they will come.

Saying that we are open to ideas on getting the word out.

@cash Yeah I suggested in the sigs because I didn't want anyone to spam any boards. I agree that keeping the members alive is what really counts...Once the people come along I believe it will easily stay alive

I think (or atleast they did so before) on MoMo f.exam they will just remove the sigs if they dont like them!!! Maybe they have changed to the better now when Im gone, LMAO ;) :D
But there are so many other sites like Howard Forums and MotoX.info :D :cool:

The more links the better, Google sees them and says, hey, lots of people link to this site, and thinks of us as whats called an "authority site" which then gets us up on Google. Thats where we'll get our members... oh, and don't worry about keeping em once we get em here, thats what cash and I spend hours daily on, and making sure that we give you guys the ability to make things happen here as well. Downloads are added quickly, site is quick and easy to navigate, good people here, etc... Its a solid place.

Actually this thread was started way back in October 2006, when the forum was new and there was a need to get people in and publicity up. It just got dug up now, and M3 popularity is way up currently, most moto related hits on google turn M3 @ first or second slot now. But I guess we must still do whatever we can to keep up and add more popularity to M3 :)

thats a hell of a lot of people, which is a good thing. and im we're at 150k now (near enough) then 200 will come in no time. then at a rate of say 155k a year (its almost M3s Bday :):):):):))1 mil will come quite quick, as the rate of growth goes up because of more people
