main screen buttons

ok i put a new skin on my phone that i really like but i have 1 problem.... the icons on the main screen for the up, down, left, right functions are there but 3 of them are cut in half horizontally, i believe whoever made the skin did this purposefully in order to better see the included alienware BG. my question is, is there a way to change those icons? these icons i speak of are the 4 icons on the main screen when u first open the phone that correspond to the directional pad on the keyset. any help would be awesomeness:rockon:

Yes use MotoSkin_v0.1.7 you can change positions size of whats showing and its simple here is my guide with more detail.

On the second pg of the guide there is a pic of the main screen and a bunch of boxes. Beside it are the boxes coordinates. So in motoskin go to 'Joy Pad button' and change values. If the box is 38 pix high and you only see half then the y1 and the y2 values difference needs to be increased. Make the difference between the two 38. (Ex.- y1=14 and y2=52 the diff is 38)
post or pm if you need I'll answer the best I can. moderate skinner here havent gotten into the drm or mm_ucp yet still learning but the simple stuff like changing icons and positions of things in the skin, or appearance of the soft buttons I can do.

you can use skinner4moto
just move the positions off the screen
they are probably like that as the main menu uses those same icons and are special to that skin
