This may be a dumb question, but what improvements/changes have been made on that s/w compared to other versions? I suppose I can take a look at it when I get a sec, but I thought I'd see if anything jumped out at anybody.
Also, for reference, what's the BL?
Thanks for the MP! I'll definitely check it out when I can.

Both files are corrupted.
WinRAR found no errors in the compressed files and AntiVir found no virii in the uncompressed files.

I have not been able to find any differences between my ~.25R and my boss' ~.04RA. He has done a software update, though (I assume that's why there's the extra "A" at the end of his firmware).
Bootloader is 0C.F4

will this MP unlock the tmobile phones?

It will not. The v3re can only be unlocked three ways: Ask your provider for the subsidy code, buy the subsidy code, or use a smart clip to unlock it (requires using the test point method.) I recommend the first, if you can.

xsjcalix Who is your provider? Mine is at&t and as long as your in good standing and been a customer for a few mnths just ask them and they will provide you with the subsidy code no questions asked. Somebody correct me if Im wrong but i think tmob will do the same.

I've heard T-Mobile will, but I put in my request weeks ago (and I've always paid on time) but they haven't gotten back to me.

You were a tmob customer with that phone previous and now your a at&t customer wanting to use that tmob branded phone with at&t? Is this correct? Well I havent been in that situation so dont know exactly, but here are my thoughts. (someone correct me if Im wrong) You could try calling tmob and asking them for the subsidy code for that phone. If no ask at&t. I think at&t could get you the subsidy code as well. The codes (I dont believe) are not stored with the providers. The codes are (I think) stored with motorola or a company afilliated with them. Thats why outside companies can get subsidy codes as well. (For a fee) Plus when I was on the phone getting my code, just the typing she was doing, and the little comments she was making, and the time led me to believe she was getting them from somewhere other than her(at&t) data base. I am by no means an expert, so I could be wrong just using common sense and logical thinking from info Ive got so far.

No, the provider has the code. It's phone specific, but the provider who sold the phone has the code. Pretty positive about that. I don't know how the other companies get it, but you can pay some for the unlock code.
Or if you know somebody who has a smartclip, do it with that.

I stand corrected. I wonder how those outside companies get them then? You think they call the provider and pay for them? If I were a provider I would'nt give that info to the outside company so they can make money off me then allow my customer the freedom to leave me and lose that buisness as well. Huh well either way thanks Danation.
*edit* oh yeah i forgot im removing my thanks per our conversation! lol

Yeah, I dunno how they get it. I wonder if it's available to AT&T and such, but they can't legally give it out or something. Or I wonder if these companies that sell it are obtaining it illegally. I'm not sure, but it's definitely a curious situation.
lol, that's cold.
