Recently added firmwares have a star prepended before their name.
The files are sorted on Rapidshare by date by default. Right above the right corner of the first link, change sorting to name to find your firmware easier.

How to remove a subsidy lock from the firmware flashfile:
1) Download SBF RECALC from HERE (http://rapidshare.com/files/136471929/SBF-Recalc_1.2.8.rar).
2) Create a folder and put your locked flashfile into it.
3) Open SBF RECALC.
4) Click on "Open Flash-file" and select the one you want to unlock.
5) Click on "Split Flash-file".
6) Click on Open CG-Folder and select the folder that contains the splitted firmware (it is the same one).
7) In "Advanced" tab, make sure that "Remove Ask for Lock" is checked
8) Click on "Recalc Checksum". When it finishes there will be a message like: "n Sim- or Netlock found and removed".
9) Click on "Create SBF-File". Now the unlocked firmware is in "SBF-FlashFile" subfolder. Flash it.
NOTE: Should SBF Recalc say when clicking on "Recalc Checksum": "n Sim- or Netlock, already unlocked", then the firmware is already unlocked.

How to request for a firmware:
1) Look on to a stock firmware name (this one is for V8):

2) I have colored the parts I need you to submit: Look in Settings -> Phone Settings -> Properties and submit:
- AP S/W Version
- BP Flex Vesion
- Language List
- AP Flex Versions (see point 3)
3) AP Flex Versions: give me the parts marked by red color:
Secure Setup: only the E parameter (e.g GAS_EMEA_GSQLIDORTCZHUSK_E007)
Setup: FULL NAME (e.g GAS_EMEA_GSQLIDORTCZHUSK_S037)
Resource: only the R parameter (e.g GAS_EMEA_GSQLIDORTCZHUSK_R601_G_80.44.2BR_R001)
Logo: only the G parameter (e.g _EMEA_GCQLIDOCOREEU_G001)
5) Post it in this thread. Also say the firmware branding (operator you bought the phone from + country)
NOTE: I only MIGHT find that firmware or newer version of it.

Although supplying the info will make your chances bigger, getting Canadian carriers firmwares are a bit problematic.

Thanks. But the info must be related to the FIDO firmware. The purpose of giving info from phone is to bring the flashfile for the firmware that is on your phone (for warranty etc.) You have Generic Phillipines on it.

..Skrilax_CZ? Earlier you said something about Fido firmware. In Canada, there IS a network called Fido. Would I need to switch to Fido for you to be able to get the Canadian firmware?

Yes, you need to have a FIDO (or ROGERS) fw on phone and then give info so its for FIDO (or ROGERS). However it is not 100% sure I succeed. Especially Rogers and Fido have bad ratio (just have those for V9).

No, you can only unlock it by purchasing an unlock code from online service or operator. Not by flashing.

I didn't buy my em30 from a carrier, it came unlocked GSM. i think it came from china...I Just want firmware that will give me ALL english setting and options and not have all this china mobile crap.

i used MotoMagx Backup Tool to backup my EM30. i had join all ( from CG30 to CG62), when finish, i had CG31, CG34, CG35, CG36, CG37, CG41, CG42, CG43, CG44, CG45, CG46, CG48, CG49, CG50, CG52, CG60, CG61, CG62.smg. So, if i flash a firmware that it's not work, how can i restore the lash firmware? DO EM30 is like E398?

What I don´t get is that... If I have a bootloader 06.A9, would I be able to update to 09.04 for example? Or I´m able to install only selecetd firmwares.

So I need to know how to create a copy of my firmware and bootloader before I go ahead ad try something else, just in case, I remember I had tried on a V3i before ad I have problem of firmware compatibility and end up crashing my cel and I do´t remember how I solve that issue, I just tried with several firmwares until one worked, however I never handle any bootloader change.
