hey i just started getting into modding about 2 months ago and was wondering if i could put a java app called guitar tuner on my razr v3re using p2k commander. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also have a problem with flash and backup. My trial expired and i was wondering if there was a way of getting it back; thanks.

Use Midway to load Java apps. If you're using Vista, you may have to use MOTODev's Mway. There's a bunch of guides and threads about it, but if you have any questions, post them. :)

Yeah, not all games work with the v3re, so that's not a problem with the phone. Just incompatability issues. Take a look at modnmoto's thread about what games work. He's found a lot.
Glad you got it to work!

i figured out that changing the .jav file to a .jad instead of just downloading the .jad works much better

What do you mean? There are jad and jar files. A jad file is basically a shortcut that tells about the jar file for installation.

You mean the .jar? Yeah, the converter works well.

yeah at mobilerated.com you can either download the .jar or the .jad and if you get the .jar and convert it, thats the only way it will work. jadmaker works perfectly

I keep seeing more and more good comments about jadmaker maybe Ill try it. Ive been modifing the jads myself, once I learned it and figured out the basics I can modify the jad file in like two seconds. Well maybe not that quick (lol), but prob in the same amount of time it takes to open jadmaker, load file, convert, and place in to the folder with the jar. huh Ill have to give it a try.

hmmm -- that worked the other day. It was a link to the JADMaker program that was listed in the MMM downloads section.
