What version RAZR do I have?

Im posting in this thread because im pretty sure its its a V3re but i just want to make sure. What info do I need to tell you guys?

I found this under "Other Information" on my phone:

Flex Version: GSVV3xx06TMB01NA120

Software Version: R3442A_G_0E.43.25R

DSP S/W Version: 633A3A00
It looks like a RAZR, is slow like a RAZR and sucks like a (stock) RAZR...

Anything else I need?

The S/W version prefix R3442A means it's a RAZR v3re. That's mostly all you need to know at this point about versions. As far as I know, there are only two bootloaders, and from everything I've seen, they're compatable (if anybody finds out differently, tell me the details immediately.)

So it appears that you don't have to worry too much about version information when flashing and MP. You DO need to make sure that, if your phone is unlocked, all MPs you flash are unlocked. Also, any personal information and settings will be lost.

Finally, ALWAYS back up your phone before modding.

I have a question for you, I want to flash a MP to my phone, but ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS, it crashes at "Sending Loader" I did everything but nothing works!

There's no need to downgrade, btw, for the v3re.

First of all, more information is definitely needed:

1) What MP are you trying to install?
2) What are you trying to flash it with? If it's not F&B3.0.7 or later or RSD Lite 4.2 or later, then get the latest versions.
3) Have you properly installed the drivers?
4) Have you backed up your phone successfully?

The answers to those questions will give us more of a chance to help you, and more details about what doing "everything" entails is where we should start.

Great job on compiling a guide for V3re phone owners. You answered a lot of questions I had posted earlier. One problem I am having is I am using moto tools to install ring tones. I make sure they are the right size and then send to my phone. I scroll through my fav 5 and change ring tones for each icon. I select the new ring tone and can hear that it is correct. When the fav 5 person calls it has changed back to the default ring tone and not the new tone I selected for them. What gives.Thanks.

2. F&B 3.0.6 (Oh crap, no wonder. hahah)
3. Yes I checked and re-checkd that i got all of them installed
4. Yes I have both with FB 3.0.6 and 3.0.7

Ok, so have you tried flashing with F&B3.0.7 yet? It has the v3re profile. If you've tried that, we'll try other things.

I've used jklong03's MP, so I know it works. But I added a line to the profile for his bootscreen. Have you tried that? It's in the thread for his MP.
