I tried using the same instructions as the V9 to apply funlights to my V9x, but it is not working.
For instance, I wanted to use keiri's funlight #138 on my phone. I did the proper seem edits on the phone as well as replacing the FLP manifest file, so that Ring Lights show up in the Audio menu on the phone. In order for that funlight to even show up, I had to rename the FLP file to 001, otherwise, it wouldn't display.
When it was finally recognized, it was set to Pulse in the menu. I chose this, but according to 138's settings, it says:
"138 (Incoming message, new voicemail, missed call/msg reminder) = BT Light flashes every 500ms"
It doesn't do this at all. It only flashes when a new call is coming in, not for a new voicemail or a missed call reminder. So it's not working correctly.
Not to mention I was able to lock up my phone when changing the Ring Light option in the Audio menu. Instead of going INTO the menu, I merely hit my direction arrow key to the left/right, and this locked up my phone.
Can anyone please take the time and post exactly how I can properly get funlights working on the V9x? I can get it to work, but it only half works properly.
