I want to start this thread by saying thank you for this outstanding guide for modding on a mac. It's easy to understand and follow and I really appreciate the work that went into it.

Now, I'm having problems flashing my phone. I've followed all steps up to this point and all steps have been successful. I'm to the point where I'm actually flashing my phone and I get what's shown below. (Sorry very littel experience with terminal). I've tried this whole process from the very beginning twice, including a fresh install of Moto4Lin and libusb and flasher. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Close... you just need to put a space between the 3B11 and the /Users. You have the whole thing altogether, and you need to get that space in there and you're good to go.

Ok awesome that did the trick to start flashing my phone but I encountered an error in the process. My phone had a critical error labled 80 40. No errors were reported in terminal. The progress ceased at 74% and returned to an opening line. The phone still works ok but it didnt get flashed. I was thinking it could possibly be the .shx file I used because when I looked at the forum where it was posted I noticed that it was a font set for a V3. Could this be a problem and if so where do I find a compatible file. To be honest I dont even understand what a font set has to do with flashing a cell phone. I'm assuming any .shx file would work but I don't want to try again until i'm sure. Thanks a lot for the help

Vince

It has to be for the same phone you are using, and some of them are getting that error. We are still not sure why.
