Urgent related to 0032_0001 seem

Hello friends
Right now I was trying to upload modded seem available in download section named as 0032_0001.seem to my slvr.
But while uploading it gave me message that "size is mismatch" shall i still continue to upload?
my original seem is of 512bites
and the modded is of 255 bites
please reply urgent

1) Backup your seem
2) Upload it even if there's a mismatch.
3) Restart the phone

can it be uploaded? tried that but can't upload it mine. tried overwriting the hex of mine from 255 saved and uploaded to mine but nothing has changed.

You should be able to do that, just search for the right seem,

or

Use p2k Tools > Other Features > Other (I think it's in 'other')
browse that, I can't remember exactly where in Other features.

Does it not allow you to upload it? That's weird! Some R4517 users have also successfully uploaded the seem.

That's weird... but you can make any seem edit, right?
It seems like you seem 0032_0001 is locked or something like that (Honestly this is just a plain speculation, I don't even know if seems can be locked or something like that)

yeah i can seem edit. i remember the old 5DR firmware has 255 bytes of 0032 and when i try to upload it to my DCR i can't.

and the following was unexpected:-
1) cell websession menu is automatically changed to ICOn view from list view.
2) Now I can not add or copy websessions.
3) GPRS packet data available sign doesnt change though actually cell is connected to gprs. Previously cell was showing another square in square sing when gets connected
4)Some banner option is added to personalisemenu which has no effect on home screen.

so still I have old back up of seem. if i again restore it and I only want to activate battery save option, then How can i do that ?
please guide me in that behalf in light od using p2k AE

1)u need to mod ur seem 4a. use p2k advanced editor.
seem 004A_0001 , offset 9 , bit 1(checked).

2) goto 'Messages>"press menu button">Message Setup>Text Msg Setup>Store To:SIM'

3)goto 'Settings>Initial Setup>Time & Date>AutoUpdate:ON'.

I think he removed the modded seem, so he actually needs the seem edit to enable the autoupdate.

How do you know it didn't change? Have you received at least more than 10 calls? Or have you dialed more than 10 calls?
Showing that it's working will also depend on how your phone is setup to handle dialed/received calls. If you have it to the last call only, you will need to dial at least 10 diferent phone numbers to have the 11th appear on the list...

I have the R4517 B/L 0A.52 and this worked fine for me. I didn't have any troubles installing using P2KTools.

i tried playing with this seem to reverse the keys and it trashed the turn on and turn off sequences.

so I've restored it to to art's full specification and will leave until such a time when i can give it 100% unequivocal concentration.

just want to know - can that RilycsShow Player made to play on SLVR L7 too. I was asking that as I am trying to find an equalizer mp3 player for my SLVR L7 but i am not able to get it since last 6 months. So please help if u could sort out the problem!! The above stated player is available at www.e2mod.com. also there is another program called GP real time editor available for e398 at www.E398mod.com I heard that program has equalizer capabilities. Can it be made worked for our slvr also?
